In my academic pursuits, I've explored the synergy between instructional design, technology, learning and development, visual communication, accessibility, and equity, dissecting their influence on program success and their potential to enrich learning experiences. My primary educational focus has been cultivating a transformative mindset within instructional design, empowering me to craft innovative and engaging training programs. This allowed me to shape my approach to education and professional development.
Expertise in instructional design models, including ADDIE, SAMR, and Bloom's Taxonomy, focusing on optimizing learning experiences. Committed to integrating interactive elements, gamification, microlearning, and competency mapping to enhance outcomes. Proficient in Adobe Captivate, and Canvas. This expertise allows me to create high-quality multimedia content with innovative augmented, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence (AI) while prioritizing incorporating Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
The goals of various organizations have propelled me to lead and embrace innovation, fostering transformative outcomes. My diverse academic and industry experiences include transitioning to new learning platforms, utilizing learning analytics, securing grant funding, and enhancing program participation. My commitment to effective communication and promoting adaptability reinforces my passion for lifelong learning and bridging theory and practice in instructional design and technology across multiple organizations.
